Biography:
David Crystal is one of the world’s leading linguists and is honorary professor of linguistics at the University of Bangor, UK and director of research at Crystal Semantics. He has written over 100 books on language, including The Cambridge Encyclopedia of the English Language and The Penguin Dictionary of Language. David is the creator of the 'sense engine' approach to online search, which has had several applications in semantic targeting.
